ABOUT ME

Leo Fish is from Easthampton Massachusetts.He first started playing trombone in fifth grade. In sixth grade he discovered a proclivity for jazz and improvisation. Throughout middle school and high school he was a part of western masses jazz community, participating in districts, jazz camps and gigging around the area. In early high school he started teaching himself piano and began composing. Throughout high school he continued to develop his passion for jazz trombone and composing.

 

In 2016 Leo got a scholarship for composition and performance to Berklee college of music. Where he currently is pursuing a career in jazz performance and film scoring. The purpose of Leo Fish's music is not to replicate or represent previous styles of music but to build on that and create new music and new genres that will cause people to feel new things and think in new ways.
